The sports facilities on the Nike World Headquarters campus promote athlete training, employee fitness and field-testing of the company’s footwear and apparel. Two regulation soccer pitches that form the center of the North Campus are frequently programmed for athletic exhibitions and training, children’s sports camps, special events and employee intramural activities. The fields have a special drainage system that improves the water quality of the runoff prior to entering the adjacent creek.
The 400-meter track, made of recycled Nike shoes, was sited in a stunning woodland and open meadow environment that provides contemplative and serene environment for training. The continuous jogging path that encircles the campus perimeter has separated grades over all of the entry portal roadways.
