Villebois is a new master-planned community modeled after a traditional European village located on a 504-acre site of a former state hospital. The Piazza Villebois at the town center of the development, is an intimate, paved public open space surrounded by housing and commercial establishments. Three notable mature shade trees anchor the space. The piazza, surfaced with rustic permeable pavers, features a traditional fountain as its centerpiece. The piazza combines with private street closures to create flexible venues for a farmer’s market, arts and craft shows and other events. A children’s art maze, picnic pavilion and two bocce ball courts are also included as activities for the community.
